If there are two things we love, it’s running, and infographics… well, RunningShoes.com has combined them into this awesome infographic about the growth of running… enjoy!

Running Can’t Wait…
Considering the age of the earth, we only get a few precious moments to enjoy it.
The times you spend with family and loved ones are always cherished. But sometimes we forget how great it is just to run.
IT won’t be long until joints are sore, and those nagging injuries become a regular way of life. And, unfortunately, a time when running will no longer be an option.
So, RUN WHILE YOU CAN. There will be plenty of time for sitting in front of the computer, or watching “Lost” reruns later, but the time you have to run is limited.

It’s Tunesday… Let’s Go!
OK, so we’re a little late on Tunesday, but let’s be honest, running music is good everyday, not just Tunesday.
This one got a Grammy nomination, and has gotten a lot of play around the StrideBox offices lately… it’s a get out there and do something anthem that has motivated us not to keep going, but to GET STARTED.

No Rules…
OK, OK… so we know that during races, there are rules. Rules like, stay on course, no shoving, and keep your shorts on.
(Sometimes even those are pretty optional.)
But the greatest thing about running is that you don’t need a course, or even a reason, you can get out there and just run. Walk out your front door, and you’ve got a whole planet of trails. You don’t need a bunch of rules, gear, or even teammates, you can simply just run.

Running Never Takes More…
THere are a lot of ways this weeks motivation is true… you get healthy, you get happy, you stay healthy, you stay happy, all bacuase of the run.
And what does it take? Just a little time, and some sweat. That 4 gallons of nachos you downed yesterday for the big game… all forgotten after a nice long run.
THere are a lot more ways the running community gives back, but it all starts with how a little (or long) run pays of for you.
